Just a bit of commentary on the following article, "Top U.S. court is divided over lethal injection"
People are still enforcing death by electric chair? In this day and age? I mean, really.
The death penalty itself - well, I don't really discuss this topic with anybody much (and why would you, it's such a morbid topic), but I wonder whether it's better to let the criminal live and be tormented by the knowledge that they have committed such a nasty (to put it lightly) act. Death is really the easy way out - you can't think or feel (from our knoweldge) so you can commit your crime and be done with it.
If everybody was nicer to each other, more accepting, tolerant, broad-minded, and everybody had the opportunity to receive a good education (and used that opportunity, no less), perhaps the world would be a better place and I wouldn't be blogging about death penalties.
